Here is a sneak peak of our newest family member! It has been such a special pregnancy. On Christmas Day we found out we are breaking our streak with pink and adding some blue to the family. The girls are elated! Ella really wanted a brother and Addy Grace just loves loves loves babies. Daddy is dreaming of Little League games and mommy is just so grateful for the opportunity to experience the miracle of pregnancy again…and, of course, looking forward to exploring trucks, trains and dirt in a way I have never experienced! Luke is a pretty loved little guy already.
We’ve had a few extra ultrasounds with him as they have been monitoring some minor issues so I feel like we’ve really been able to identify with him as we’ve seen his precious face in 3D. We also have had the unique experience of watching him move, yawn, swallow and open his eyes in real time. Knowing his gender has also helped the girls connect with him before his birth day. They are constantly talking to him, reading to him and trying to find the “perfect” pacifier for him at the store. I just hope he likes paci’s since he has quite a collection already! We are so ready to meet him. It should be within the next 2 weeks or so!
